DGFT Adds New SION A-3695 under Chemical and Allied Product.

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), exercising powers under Paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, has introduced a new Standard Input Output Norm (SION) under the Chemical & Allied Product Group “A”.

This move aims to streamline the Advance Authorisation process and provide greater clarity for exporters dealing in pharmaceutical products.

• New SION Number: A-3695.

• Category: Chemical & Allied Product Group “A”.

• Export Product Covered: Acetyl Salicylic Acid 75 mg Film-Coated Tablets.

• Import Item Allowed: Acetyl Salicylic Acid (76.50 mg per tablet).

• Simplification: Regional Authorities (RAs) can now issue Advance Authorisations directly, without the need to refer cases to the Norms Committee.
