𝗟𝗲𝘃𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗻 ‘𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗜𝘀𝗼𝗰𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝗶𝗱’ 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗥 & 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 – 𝗗𝗚𝗧𝗥 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The Government of India has imposed anti-dumping duty on imports of Trichloro Isocyanuric Acid from China PR and Japan to counteract unfair pricing and protect the domestic industry. The duty applies to specified tariff items under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. This measure follows the final findings of the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), confirming dumping and material injury to the Indian industry. The duty will be in effect for five years from the date of notification.

Notes:

1. The anti-dumping duty applies to Trichloro Isocyanuric Acid under tariff items 2933 69 10 or 2933 69 90.
2. The duty is imposed based on DGTR’s final findings dated 10th December 2024, which confirmed dumping and injury.
3. The imposed duty is payable in Indian currency and calculated based on exchange rates as per the Customs Act, 1962.
4. The duty remains effective for five years, unless revoked or modified earlier.
5. The customs classification is indicative and does not limit the scope of investigation.
